I went in to work, therefore the options are Monday, Tuesday, etc through Friday.

The simplest way to find out is to put the cursor on the time and it will tell you the day and date.

Okay--it's Monday. And I had a productive day at work with the current collection. The end is in sight for that one!!

That means that on my next work day I should finish getting all the materials into nice, acid-free folders. And I'll have a handwritten inventory of everything.

I'll type up the inventory at home, then e-mail it to the appropriate places, as well as printing out copies to go into the cartons.

I told the temporary archive person that I needed a box for the last batch. An NAB box. (The carton IDs start with NAC.) We also have NAF containers. These are flat boxes. But she knew what I was after and said she'd look for one and leave it in my carrel.

(The regular archive person is on loan to the state for a while.)

My work today was accompanied by lots of thumping noises as the pile driver across the street busily drove piles for a new building.

My car behaved itself beautifully and steered with great ease.

My commuting times are generally not quite at peak traffic periods, but things slowed down this afternoon as I approached the lake. There had been some sort of attempt to put two vehicles in the same place at the same time, and things had come to stop-and-slow on the interstate. Luckily, I avoided most of it by using the eighty-something year old bridge, instead of the new interstate one.

It was a good afternoon--I even remembered to stop at the drugstore to pick up a couple of prescriptions I'd called in.

My cats are sound asleep fairly close to me. There was a mini-video on LOLcats that really concerned Spots. Lots of cat snarls. He wanted to see just who was threatening me. CC was on the papasan looking especially alert also.

And now I see by the clock in the corner of the monitor that the evening has almost gone by!
