I have one cat curled up on top of the printer on my right, and another one taking a bath on the end-type table to my left.

Today started early for me with a 9 AM dr. appointment. This was for the hip. I was just getting into an interesting waiting room conversation with a former military pilot when my name got called.

This place is fairly efficient. And, I noticed a second name on the door, which is encouraging.

The Radiology lady greeted me and we got caught up on what's been going on. She used to do the X-rays when my doctor was part of the Tulane staff. Obviously, he managed to steal her when he went solo.

Tomorrow is another doctor day. The appointment is for 8:20, and it's a take off the clothes one.

(Note to self: get up a bit earlier and shower in the morning.)

We had some rain this afternoon, which made for an extended nap. It had had stopped by supper, so I headed for Arby's.

As I walked in the door, they about handed me my "usual" order. They saw me coming (when you drive a bright yellow car it gets remembered) and started making the chicken salad sandwich, with the glass for the senior drink, and a cherry turnover. I'm noT too predictable--although occasionally I get the roast beef sandwich.

(A new employee would no doubt be totally confused as the older staff started to suddenly fill an order from a ghost.)

On the way home I stopped at Walgreen's to drop off a couple of prescriptions from the morning visit.

Now how is that for an exciting day!
