I had no reason to leave the house at all, and plenty of stuff that needed doing inside it.

I may yet go out for an errand or two. Or maybe not.

At the moment I am virtually bookended by cats. Spots is at my left, on a tray table that gets used if I need to stack books or something. CC is on my right, keeping the printer from floating away.

It wasn't insufferably hot, so I saw no reason to seek out OPAC.

On my next visit to WalMart, however, I need to get my glasses adjusted. They've acquired a bit too much "spread," and with the hot weather that brings on extra perspiration they slide way too readily.

I went out on the porch to put out some more kibble for the raccoon babies and startled one that was already there. He(?) sort of scampered up the screen and then managed to get a bit more secure grip courtesy of the screen door closer. When I had gone back inside he had to tackle the problem of getting down. He finally figured out that if he jumped to the cat shelf (small areas halfway down, in the corners, so that the cats can sit up a bit high and watch the world go by) he could manage.

And I expect tomorrow will be an equally exciting day.
