. . . but there's just a wee bit of excitement building up for tomorrow's football game.

The ferries will not be carrying cars tomorrow.

The police force will be beefed up--and that includes tonight.

There will be several road closures in the Superdome vicinity. Fortunately, over the years we have devised a route that involves minimal traffic.

I doubt that many people will work until 5 PM, especially if they are in or near the CBD (Central Business District.)

It's not like the police here are facing a new situation--don't forget we have Mardi Gras, which disrupts a lot more traffic for a lot longer than just a football game.

And then there's the laissez les bon temps roulez attitude--let the good times roll.

After so many years of not even getting near the playoffs--this is something special.

I've about decided to wear my "A Woman's Place is in the Dome" t-shirt.

I sure hope the energy from the crowd gets the team off to a winning start.
