Had a lovely evening at a dinner given as thanks for solid pledges ($$-type) for my church. I hadn't been planning to go, but one of the members knew where it was and took me along.

Aside from the food, the socialization was most enjoyable.

I met one of the parttime ministers and asked if she would be interested in a pair of Saints tickets. I knew what the answer would be--I follow her personal blog. My current problem is that the card she gave me worked its way out of my pants pocket. I can always look up her address in the N.O. phone book. Or e-mail her for it.

Other than that, not much different went on today. I was greeted in the driveway by my black cat; I expect the other cat is somewhere in the house.

And it's getting close to what I think of as bed time.
