I got to WalMart this morning, and found some lovely, fuzzy, cozy slippers. No more cold feet in the morning.

And I bought the usual other stuff, including some of the deli readymades.

Early this afternoon I had a knock on the door, and it was a youngish gentleman. He was from Xavier (University) and stopped by to give me an invitation to some kind of shindig Xavier is putting for its "friends." (Xavier is in my will, as are UNO and Dillard.)

We chatted a bit about the university and why we liked it.

I rather doubt I'll go to the whatever--it's in New Orleans and the time might be awkward. However, the thought is nice.

So today was not an IUD--it's definitely not every day that I get a visitor.

And Spots had to see who he was, and what he was doing.

Weatherwise it's been nice November weather--dry, cool, etc. The cats are loving it.

Once the Xavier guy had left I settled on the couch to watch the various afternoon football activity. And to check out the back of my eyelids every once in a while.

Tomorrow is a Saints away game. That translates as no yard work tomorrow.

So--not a totally IUD. Plus the weather has been gorgeous.
