Not exactly dull, but ordinary and uneventful.

I had a pretty good night's sleep--it is SO nice that the summer heat has gone. And a side effect of that is the frequent presence of feline bed-warmers.

After I fed the felines I realized that I needed to get some more food for them--and the raccoons.

So, it was out to WalMart, where I also got a couple more of the new house keys made.

I love their ready-made deli meals--today I got little roll-ups (the name currently escapes me). There are six in a box, and three make a fairly filling evening meal.

Back home in time to see the Bears finish off the Vikings. Aside from the fact that I always root against the Bears (Bears fans were incredibly rude to Saints fans at a playoff game several years ago) I figured that the Vikings' QB (Bret Favre) was a good enough reason to root for them today. Favre is from Kiln, MS--just across the border from southern Louisiana.

Favre has retired twice (so far) but keeps coming back. I think he's in his forties now--and that's a long time for a football player.

I am bound and determined to get back to work tomorrow. At the moment the weather forecast seems okay. And I'll also go in Tuesday, but only for the morning, since I have a dr. appt. in N.O. in the early afternoon.

Here's hoping for not-rainy weather in the morning. (and late afternoon)
