But it didn't last all day.

The Saints played the Rams at home.

The tickets went to the oldest of the step-grands, who were in the area this weekend (They live in Lafayette--more than a bit to the west.)

They were thrilled to get the tickets, and the Saints (and Rams) put on a really good game, which was fairly close right until the end.

The Saints won, so I guess if they are in town next year on a home game weekend I'll pass the tickets to them.

One more home game in the regular season, and that's on Jan. 2. I shall be going to that one.

With luck, there will be playoff game(s) also, for which I have already ordered tickets.

Other than that, it was an ordinary day, albeit somewhat on the cold side. I'm sure I'll have at least one cat playing "blanket" tonight. (From the cat's perspective, it will be I who is playing "heating pad.")

I'll save a decision as to whether I want to go into New Orleans tomorrow until after I see the late news with the weather forecast.

I think we're under freeze warning. That means take care of pets, plants, and tender vegetation.

The cats have their own door into the house.

The critters can sleep in the garage if they want.

Any tender vegetation around here froze years ago.

I love the way when a cat curls up it tucks its nose under a paw. That definitely keeps it warm.

So, another day hastening to an exit.

I hope it doesn't get as cold as they suggest it might.
