My day started early as I headed in to work, getting there before 0730.

And I had a productive day with the files until early afternoon, when I had to head for a doctor appointment.

After that, it was home again. And wondering what on earth they were doing to the traffic patterns near the little Lakefront Airport. Every time I go by there a different part of the road is torn up, being rebuilt, or has flat out disappeared.

And then there is the Raising of the Levee.

The levee is now a LOT higher. The adjacent road is still a zigzag track to accomodate roadway changes brought about by the Raising of the Levee.

But I made it home with no problems at all. And I think I made a truck driver happy, by holding back the cars behind me so he could shift lanes. I simply maintained my speed, while those around me sped up to block lane changes in front of them.

I hope that got noted on my car karma.

And I plan on going in to work at least one more day this week.

This evening (before it got dark) I looked out the window and discovered that Spots had found the ultimate cat high place--the roof of my Escape. He looked quite professional sitting there alertly.

I am looking forward to an evening of vegetating before the TV.
