In fact, it's more than a week since I used the furnace.

I got some tidying up done, and just now FINALLY remembered to list a set of Learn Spanish CDs and books on the local Freecycle site.

I wonder how long it will take for them to be grabbed up. Freecycling is a great way to get rid of things that are usable but no longer needed. And it is also a good way to find things. They get a lot of "SEEK" posts too.

It was another IUD--and I was at home all day.

The masked critters are currently enjoying the cheapo dog biscuits. I'm pretty sure the ones with the hairless tails took care of the cheap cat kibble on the front porch.

The area is shifting into high gear for Carnival--there are at least ten parades scheduled in the area for the weekend. I think there are two in Slidell.

When we lived here in the 60s Slidell had one small one--the Women's Civic Club. I don't know how many there are now, but it seems like every weekend the barricades come out again.

At least I don't have to go near a parade route to get to WalMart. And they have just about everything there, including groceries and drugs.

And now for an evening of mindless TV drivel.
