Tomorrow morning I'll be calling my mechanic for an update.

If it's a discouraging one, I'll probably use a cab to get to and from the store.

My car is definitely going through its mid-life crisis. Most cars do--and mine is an '02.

My large boy cat is being very friendly. I am gradually getting the message through to him that walking on the keyboard does NOT make me happy. And when he DOES move to what I consider an acceptable location he gets some Kitty Bitties (generic cat treats). Little by little the message is getting through.

Today--sans car--was a rather ordinary blah day. I don't think I had occassion to speak to anyone, other than electronically. And I generally go on the computer only in the evening.

My e-mail had a really nice birthday present in it--an Amazon g.c. Now I have to figure out which books to order!

I ran out of postage stamps today. If it really comes down to it, I can always put out unstamped mail with money for postage--and a note explaining why I can't get to the P.O. And/or money for stamps. I'll probably do that--I already have a little envelope with postage due on something I recently received.

Cross fingers for me on the car.
