But it was really nice to be able to get in the car and run an errand down at Walgreen's!

I had already decided that undone miscellany took priority over the Newcomb work. Catching up at home was overdue, especially after several days of carlessness.

But I shall be there (Newcomb) bright and early Monday morning--barring anything else unforeseen, of course.

It's hard for me to believe, but 50 years ago at this time I was happily nursing my brand new baby. At that time, breast-feeding was not particularly common, but Cheyenne still had a lot of doctors and mothers who opted for the natural way.

Today was, as usual, a blah one. So far, the only humans I've spoken to were at the store.

So much for today--I now need to take care of the food needs of the cats and other critters.

Happy Birthday OD.
