But it's summer (almost) so what else is new.

I didn't notice the heat--I was at work. As I said before--will work for AC.

I think I'll go in again tomorrow--it's cool, and it's nice to be around people. Not many--but some.

One end of the women's center library building has been given over to Latin American Studies. There is a connecting door between the library and their end of the building--but the only access to the "facilities" involves going outside, then walking to the Women's Center main entrance.

The secretary has my cell number, in case she--or one of the staff members--wants to get to the "facility' and it's raining outside. The connecting door locks from both sides, so cooperation and agreement are necessary in order to use it.

And (of course) we chat every once in a while.

As a result of today's chat I'll be helping her prep for the SATs. We'll work out the logistics later. Maybe she can teach me a little Spanish.

Workwise, I got right back into the humongous collection of alumnae files. Another day of work and I may be able to make a realistic estimate of how long that will take.

My commute was uneventful in both directions. The work on S. Claiborne Ave. is nearing completion. I don't think they had any lanes blocked off today.

The neutral ground is looking really good, with actual curbs and lots of new plantings. Come to think of it--I don't recall any signs of any type of construction activity!

I plan on working agains tomorrow--that OPAC is a real good reward.
