Why?

Well, it's raining, it's getting dark, and I'm just in a bad mood. Probably the weather.

Had a dentist appointment this morning--incredibly routine--and I got caught up on everything in the dental hygienist's world. She's been with the practice forever (almost) and is a very pleasant person.

No cavities apparent, and "see you in six months".

I've been seeing the same dentist since he opened his practice about the time we returned to Slidell in the mid-70s.

Tomorrow I have a (routine) dr. appointment. Oh joy--it's the annual "look at everything" kind. (I was among the first patients of the doctor too.)

Nothing earth-shaking (or even mildly interesting) in the mail.

Today has been not merely incredibly unremarkable, but humongously unremarkable.

Weather permitting, I shall return enthusiastically to work on Friday. (Enthus . . . looked too long--had to check it with the dictionary. Right the first time, even though it still looks too long.)

(You can tell by the pointless blitherings what a boring day it has been/become.)
