I don't know why I took that title--it's been the usual massively predictable (boring, incredibly unremarkable) week.

In the afternoon I went out to WalMart for (among other things) critter food.

And, a woman stopped me in the cat food aisle to chat a bit. She was a one-time swimming mother. Both her kids took from me for several years and, while I didn't recall her face, the names rang a bell. We caught each other up, more or less, and then went our separate ways.

A nice interlude.

Once back home--and the groceries etc. put away--I settled on the couch with my feet up, as usual.

You can probably guess what happened next.

The nap was quite refreshing, but I probably won't be ready for "bed" until well after the late news.

So what.

The weekend looms ahead and so far I have just two items on my to-do list.

"Update checkbook" is on that list, as well as "clip rubbing thing at back/side of house." When I'm in the computer room I can hear it, but when I'm in the computer room I am seldom inclined to drop everything and take care of outdoor stuff.

But I think this weekend I need to do a little outside work. Thanks to my lawn-mowing neighbor that little item can largely be ignored. But I do need to do some clipping back of bush-type things growing near the house. The electric company meter reader would probably appreciate that also.

So--another action-filled weekend is ahead of me (not). It's much more likely to be (as usual) and IUW.
