And this was just as exciting as the past few.

I did this and that around the house, then decided that supper was to be OPC*.

But before that I'd see if my blood was red enough to donate.

It was, and my body timed things perfectly.

I normally donate platelets, which take a fair amount of time to get from my body to one of those magical little life-saving bags. The blood comes from me, goes through a processing machine which removes the platelets, then sends the rest back into me.

Because I get most of the blood back, I can donate again in a week or two. Whole blood donations are limited to once every two months.

It was only a couple of blocks from the blood center to Arby's, so I swung through there for a quick supper.

All my assorted four-legged friends had either been directly fed (as in I put the food dish down and they come right over) or I've scattered dry food where it's easy to find.

I haven't decided whether to go in to work tomorrow or do stuff around the house. It will depend on the weather and my mood, I guess.
