The highlight of my day so far has been the relatively quick trip to WalMart this morning.

I'll probably discover tomorrow what else I should have bought.

Not much else in dire need of doing, so today has really been a relaxed one.

The cats have stayed close to home--they like this fall weather when the sun is shining--and I guess the assorted critters are doing okay. I saw one raccoon taking a quick peek at feeding time to see if I had put out "their" food.

I had, and I went back inside quickly so as not to scare him(?) off.

Tomorrow's plans are iffy--if it looks like rain I'll stay home. Otherwise, I'll go in to Newcomb.

In the lateish afternoon (ater 3) I was sitting out on the patio just enjoying the weather--and the scenery.

My Chinese tallows are red and gold and really stand out among the pine trees. I went so far as to try and get a picture on my phone. I think I did--it's got tall pines, with smaller Chinese Tallows in full decadence in front of them.

Time for a relaxing evening now.
