No rain today, and pleasant temperatures. The cats like these days, and the big boy cat seems to be quite happy nestled (a bit) in the leaves--as long as the spot is within reach of a sunbeam.

My "wild" guests seem to have gone off into the woods to find winter quarters--I haven't seen nearly as much of them.

They will cuddle up in the winter quarters, do the nasty, and reappear in a couple of months with little ones in tow.

Today was another day of this and that, with little solid to show for it.

I'm going to try to get the last of the typing of inventories done by the end of the weekend, then go back into work and start all over again with fresh data.

Classes resume next week. Mardi Gras is Feb. 22 this year, and it means a short break in the days leading up to it.

I expect tomorrow will be about as unremarkable as today.
