It's been a gorgeous day today--bright, clear, and pleasantly cool.

It's the kind of day that black cats love--cool, but sunny enough that the black fur will absorb lots of sun warmth.

And I managed to get a refreshing nap in about mid-afternoon.

This evening I have to get back to typing up the inventory lists. I plan on going in Friday, so that's my deadline.

Once there, I'll make sure the cartons are all in order, put the inventory list in each carton, then give a second copy to the archivist. I will also have e-mailed her a copy for the department files.

This will in no way complete the job--there are still two or three more cartons to be taken care of.

But that's the appeal of this job. I doubt it will ever be "finished." This particular collection might be all on order, but there are lots more collections waiting.

Which reminds me--I wonder what my gas level is. Guess I'd better check that before heading into town. There is NOT a 24 hour gas station on my "new" (while there's bridge work) route in.

So, another IUD about over.

LOVE this weather!!!
