I was rooting for the NFC team--partly because the Saints are NFC, but also because the Giants' QB is a New Orleanian.

While the game went on I was reading Diana's book that mentions yesterday's tidbit about the whale.

I got caught up in the book and probably missed a bit of the football game, but the book is a humdinger--and doesn't want to be put down until it has been completely read.

Okay--when's the next one coming out?

I had no interest in the Slidell parades this afternoon, and took advantage of the probability that there would be a big turnout for them to get some things at WalMart. The store was definitely NOT crowded.

I haven't finished typing up the inventory lists for the Newcomb stuff, so it will probably be Tuesday that I (finally) go into town.

Unless it's raining on Tuesday. I don't want to be in New Orleans after about 2 PM for a couple of weeks, because of parades and the resulting traffic detours and stoppages.

And I need to check about the Hwy 11 bridge. I think it's closed already, and will be closed till late May.

As you have already figured out--another IUD is about over.
