A relatively poor turnout at church, but then we are heading into the last week and a half before Mardi Gras, and each passing day there seem to be more parades. And the closer we get to Carnival, the more parades by the long-time krewes.

I think my chief accomplishment today was a lovely, revitalizing, afternoon nap.

I should have been working on some of the stuff from Newcomb that I brought home, but the rain probability/possibility for tomorrow is relatively high. Translation--I can do that tomorrow at home. (Mardi Gras is Feb. 21 this year.)

And any day that includes a long afternoon nap gets high marks and cannot be called unremarkable.
