An unremarakable day, unless you count the ride home from the car hospital. Nothing spectacular about that, except that (thank goodness) it is not a particularly common occurrence.

It decided to quit just a couple of miles from home. My mechanic came and push-started it, and it made it to the car hospital.

I'm just hoping that I have it back by the weekend.

I also hope hope that its Phase One of replace/repair is almost complete. My experience is that once that phase is over, it will be at least a year--usually more, till phase two sets in. And that's the one where New Car is frequently the best repair.

Weather has turned Not Nice--it's raining, and there are several parades scheduled for this evening.

And I expect to have very cuddly cats tonight.

If they don't roll tonight, they will roll later--following a scheduled parade.
