And I spent the entire morning watching the parades on TV.

Each year I learn more about Mardi Gras traditions, not to mention mini-bios about the key people in each Krewe that parades.

I already knew that the kings of the major Krewes meet at midnight at their balls--which are held at the same location, but in different ballrooms.

I'm not sure if my body really wants to stay up that late, but I'll probably give it a try.

I managed a brief sinking spell in the early afternoon, then ran some minor errands.

It is hard to believe that tomorrow is not the end of a weekend, but the middle of the week (Wednesday).

Today has felt so Saturdayish that I keep thinking tomorrow is church day. Which it is, for some.

Tomorrow (Wed.) is a sort-of holiday, however.



As my father used to say--George Birthington's Washday.
