I guess the best thing I can say about today is that I didn't feel under pressure.

I'm up to date on bill-paying, but I should really check my check register against the bank statement available online.

That was on my "list" for today, but something happened along the way and it didn't get done. It was another one of those days that seemed consumed by little stuff and yet I am wondering what (if anything) I actually accomplished today.

At the moment I am telling myself that I shall go in to work tomorrow. I don't have all the typing done--this past week seems to have been nibbled away bit by bit--but that doesn't matter. I'll try to get another carton inventoried tomorrow and add it to the TBT collection. (to be typed)

My neighbor popped over this evening. I was sitting on the (screened) front porch when she appeared.

We chatted for a bit, and then she helped figure out where a plastic-coated guy(type) wire came from. Possibilities included the antenna on top of the roof. I was lucky, though--it was "only" the guy wire across the top of the patio cover. This is relatively easy to repair. Next time I'm at an appropriate store I'll buy some more.

The raccoons are getting friendlier and friendlier. These are probably from last year. They do like the cheap dog biscuits. They'd probably eat out of my hand if I let them get close enough, but they know that they need to keep their distance. That works for both of us.

That's about it for today--my life continues to be Incredibly Unremarkable.
