My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

My disposal has been acting persnickety lately, and today it more or less said "the h*** with it."

So--off to the yellow pages for plumber names. Found one that looked sort of familiar (It's been in business forever) and called them.

This afternoon the guy showed up and got it working again in almost nothing flat.

Weather is surprisingly nice for the middle of the summer. I use the AC in the computer room, but I haven't felt the need for the fan in the den (yet) today.

And, as usual, most of the day was IU. It's pretty bad when the plumber's arrival is the highlight (so far) of one's day.
