For some reason when I turned on the computer etc. the printer began merrily printing several files.

I shut off the printer so that I can (hopefully) do the daily drivel.

Summary of today's D.D.: Nothing much happening. The cats are now both back at the "homestead" chasing twilight-flying bugs.

When I finish here I'll toss out the evening critter cookies (dog biscuits).

Weather today was typical--somewhat humid, although not horribly hot. I haven't checked the weather radar to see if showers are lurking in the near distance. Maybe I'll just let myself be surprised by the evening/nighttime weather.

I don't plan on going in to N.O. tomorrow, so I don't need to do anything more than a cursory check on tomorrow's weather guesstimate.

I do plan on going in before the end of the week, however.

And now I'm going to do a bit of book-shopping. A piece of paper just emerged and it has a list of interesting book titles. Maybe I'll order myself a copy of Lucy's Legacy, by Allison Jolly. It was published in 1979. I should be able to find a gently used copy cheap.

And then I'll settle in for some mind-numbing TV. It's cooled down enough to (probably) be good sleeping weather.
