My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

This was one of those days when I actually stayed at home--not even a trip to WalMart.

Nobody came to the door (hardly anyone ever does) and there was no occasion for neighborly conversation.

Tomorrow is Hip Doctor Day (according to my word-a-day calendar).

I hope it doesn't rain--he's in New Orleans.

At least I know where I'm going, and his office is in a building with a lovely (mostly) covered, multi-story parking garage attached.

The hip hasn't done anything spectacular or worrisome--it's just a routine check-up.

Just noticed a NTS (note to self) that says in big caps WASH HAIR. Guess I'll do that in the morning. I'm pretty sure my appointment in N.O. is after lunch.

My black (boy) cat has discovered a new sleeping/sentry spot. Where else but on top of my car. I would think it would be pretty hot up there, but then I'm not a cat. There is some shade from trees, but still . . .

You guessed it--today has been yet another IUD.
