I am now more or less battened down.

My neighbors came over and helped put stuff in the garage and clean up here and there.

Of course, now I can hardly move in the garage, but once the storm has gone by stuff like trash barrels will go back to a more convenient location, as well as all sorts of other stuff.

I think I'll move my car onto the patio--which is covered. I'm sure that will totally confuse the cats and raccoons. As long as the latter get their cookies (large dog biscuits) I doubt they will care.

And it has started to rain.

Both cats are happily inside, where I am spoiling them rotten with more than the usual cat treats.

(Just remembered I still have a lawn chair out there. Better move it to the (screened) porch.)

Cross fingers for all of us being visited by Isaac.
