Okay, someone pointed out I've been neglecting this journal. Originally, I was going to mirror my LiveJournal posts here, but that fell by the wayside for two reasons:

What's the point of posting the same stuff twice? If someone wants to read about me, s/he can go to LiveJournal for it.
I've since set my LiveJournal entries to friends-only. So, if I'm going to pontificate in public, I'll do it elsewhere.

This is the elsewhere. LiveJournal is for the mundane stuff about my life. This will be for my writing. Like almost everyone I know, I'm a potential writer. I just am willing to risk more of my effort than others.
