I stumbled across Proudly Serving My Corporate Masters blog and was impressed. I wished I could blog like that, instead of a smattering of musings of a frustrated author, a struggling bicyclist, a wannabe geek.

Job's been eating me alive. I'm trying my best, but that's not what they're paying me for. I'm afraid I can't deliver on what's expected.

The good news is that our group's admin (short for 'administrative assistant,' what was previously known as 'secretary,' but really does a lot more to keep the group going than just the boss) calls me when she has a tech question. That's good on many levels.

The bad news is that I have no clue what I'm supposed to be doing, so I jump at the chance to help her because her questions are usually much easier than my junk.

I'm tired, I have a stress headache, and I'm heading home. I got very little accomplished today, and I'm afraid it's starting to show.
