Okay, all's said and done, tears and screams both. I'm going to be blunt here, and if SpouseKitty is reading this, there may be rough waters ahead for us if she continues.

Clan Kitty was at Walt Disney World this past week. SK had arranged wonderful reservations for all dining, culminating with the Crystal Palace on Friday just prior to a special-ticket only Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Disney World normally includes much of the entertainment with park admission, but this holiday party was added cost. Also, we promised Kitten this party. She had been very well-behaved during this trip, too.

My mother pased away Thursday. We agreed that we should cut our trip short, but not cut out the party. Instead, we stayed through the whole time until 12AM, then returned to our hotel and were abed around 1:30AM. Then, we woke up at 4AM to catch our 8AM flight to SF via Portland.

At some point, SK said that we couldn't have done any more even if we left at earliest (f)light.

To this, I pointed out the difference between us agreeing to staying for the party and us not being able to do more. Had we left as soon as feasible, we would have had one more day to conduct business. It would have been a Saturday, but we would have had it nonetheless.

This is my thought for the day: the truth is the truth, convenient or othewise.
