(Written 19 January, but want to backfill all the dates.)

Things at Chez Kitty have been interesting.

Work is not decompressing. If anything, it's going into high gear. People are leaving left and right. Those of us left are in a lurch.

The home remodel is almost done. The appliances, the furniture come in this next week. This coming weekend the stuff from the storage locker comes back.

Then it'll be Chaos Unlimited until we get everything unpacked. Kitten is elated to finally move back to her room. I'm less thrilled. This means lots more work, lots more stress.

Ah, stress. I saw the heart doctor a few days ago. He was stunned by the drop in my LDL (the bad cholesterol.) It was 117 before. It's now 47. For reference, less than 70 is considered good.

Oh, and my mom died. Lots of hassles and headaches with that, such as the box of cremains sitting beside me right now, waiting for urns and stuff.

That oughta do it.
