I was just talking to my boss. I have a developer who writes the code I test. He's a wonderful guy, and I want very much to make sure nothing in his code goes south. Anyhow, we're supposed to have a program manager guy who also coordinates with us. (Don't worry about the 'manager' part of PM - the program manager we're teamed with is an individual contributor, just like us.)

Boss is talking about how the PM should be talking to the Dev about a particular issue. He says something that has me chiming in, "Yeah, I'm always in my Dev's office, or he's in mine. Heck, I see him more that I see my daughter."

That's when I felt my hands grow cold...

This job is killing me, body and soul. I need to get out.
