Today I work late.
Remember how I said my job has sucky work-life balance? Well, today is the day that brings it out - my shift ends at midnight, or when everything is working (which may be later.)
The good news is that I still have a job. The better news is that my boss told me to take the morning off to offset the extra hours. Normally, I'm in at 8 AM. Let's see. 8 AM to midnight. That's ... 16 hours!
No wonder I'm tired all the time. But I still have a job, and more importantly, I still have medical insurance. (If they were to simply provide me medical coverage, I'd still work there.)
Anyhow, those of you who IM me - I'll be online, but not really able to freely talk. Hold off on the NSFW jokes, links, etc, please. :)
And for those of you who don't IM me, check out the box to the side on the 'Journal Home' page - that's an IM window, and, if you're lucky, I'm there.
