Yesterday we went to an art show, it being First Thursday. How urbane! Or how sad: this was a fundraiser for the Oregon Humane Society featuring art made by cats and food coloring. Tuna was employed as Clio(*). We bought a couple of glazed tiles with paw prints in them, and today I received a voicemail that my $30 silent bid on a painting was the winner. So OHS is turning into a money pit, of course.

And we are dangerously close to getting a puppy. That is all.
