Unnatural Cats

Last night, The Cat Who Thinks He Is In Charge, Molasses, jumped onto my shoulders when I picked him up. He set up camp there, firmly pressing against my the back of my head, and didn't seem inclined to leave even when I inclined so as to make his descent less formidable. So, I was stuck with a cat on my shoulders and I had to visit the water closet (with a cat on one's shoulders one eschews the less delicate euphemisms for the sanitary facilities).

Well, I made it to the salle de bains and was able to perform the function common to that room. I will be oblique here and note that this function was of the type performed standing up; a function requiring another posture would have been altogether too intimate to allow the presence of a cat on the shoulders. This might seem an arbitrary preciousness on my part, given that I had already crossed some line of interspecies decorum, but to me it seems an obvious distinction.

When all is said and done, I am somehow pleased with myself for this achievement, while simultaneously reluctant to acknowledge it ever occurred. However does one bring this up in boastful conversation? Whyever would one do so?
