You have to scroll down a bit (sorry, I couldn't find a header link), but she's posted the two winners of the Nevermore (a just-for-fun awards attached to the Edgars, the big literary awards for mystery and suspense writers) "Better Dead Than Read" contest, for "worst" opening paragraph. (The writer was intending to be funny, so it's not really an insult.) I'm not sure I could take a whole novel's worth of this, but in little doses it's hilarious.
