Is it time to go on vacation yet?  Oh no, I have to work another day.  Rats.

Anyway, in honor of it being summer and 90 degrees and because, of course, they rock, I have finally put up this year's Cardinals color scheme.  With special tribute to the light blue road uniforms of the '80s in the side module there.

Also?  Note who is in first place in all the other divisions as of today: Baltimore, Chicago (slightly less detestable White Sox division), the Angels Squared (no way am I calling them the Los Angeles Angels, except for, you know, right then), Washington (!?!?), and San Diego.  I think we might be the only pre-season pick that's actually leading our division.  And yeah, I know every other division could easily flip flop by next week even, but still ... it is June.  Washington at least should have (read: according to just about every sports columnist in the known universe) been an even dozen games out by now.  I love this sport.

And this week, my Redbirds get the Yankees, which means local media coverage!  Once they get done with the wailing and gnashing of teeth about losing two out of three to the Brewers, that is.

Also: I have reclaimed first place in my fantasy league, in no small part because I picked up Kenny Rogers (not that one, the Rangers pitcher, who also has an IMDB entry for some reason) before the season when Matt Morris was on the DL. OK, so having a healthy Morris, Roger Clemens, and Johan Santana doesn't hurt either.  But still, you could assume they were going to be good.  Kenny Rogers pitched a perfect game eleven years ago. He is awesome.

OK, I blathered on about Kenny for longer than I meant to, but I looked up all those links so I'm not taking it out now.  Maybe if I'm bored tomorrow I will blather about my rapidly improving offense.  Later!
