Is It Over Yet?

Could someone please let me know when the following things are over:

*The Mother of All Workshops. That would be at work tomorrow, when my old boss comes back to give the program he gave at least 12 times while he was here and yet we still have 100 people signed up for this thing, and almost 50 more on a waitlist (there'd be more, but at a certain point we decided not to tease people who had absolutely no chance of making it off the waitlist with the possibility and shut off registration entirely). Did I mention all 100 people are getting their own book? And lunch? And it may possibly snow tonight? Logistical nightmare, fast approaching.

*The stupid two-week break before the Super Bowl. Worst playoff "improvement" of the modern era, even worse than the NBA relegating all their playoff games to weekends and making them take three months. The Super Bowl is not supposed to take place in February. That is the month of rest, before March Madness starts.

*Cold with no snow. If I have to walk around in four layers of clothing I wish it would actually look like winter outside. (Everyone in the middle part of the country just rolled their eyes at me.)

On an administrative note, I am giving Baby Brother a new nickname in light of his new job as sports announcer/DJ for KJAM 1390 in Madison, South Dakota (I'd link but they haven't updated their webpage in a while, though apparently they are talking about doing so so I might get back to you.) Henceforth, he shall be known as Radio Brother. I guess if he ever gets married I'd have to change Married Brother's psuedonym, but we'll worry about that later.
