Well, it's not a new semester without a videography disaster. Today's incident involved one of our more scatterbrained freelancers writing down a job he volunteered for but didn't get instead of the one he volunteered for and did, resulting in his not showing up today as scheduled. At least we sorted it out before I had two videographers show up for the other job (especially since that was an early morning class, which would undoubtedly have meant trying to sort out the confusion over my cell phone while half-awake). Anyway, it was an honest mistake and I'm certainly no stranger to calender ditziness. But it's not exactly thrilling when we have to reschedule due to our own dysfunction.

Anyway, that was not at all what I meant to post about today. As much as I like being able to put external links on my sidebar (Reason No. 45 Why I Left Xanga), it isn't the tidiest of arrangements to have a long list like that. Plus, there's no room for explaining what exactly each link is (I'd imagine some of you have interesting ideas about what Get Up, Baby! and The Winger cover. You're all wrong. And weird.) So I thought I'd finally set up a del.icio.us page wherein you can see all the various things I link to and a little bit about what they are. It's considerably more fun to play with than it should be -- especially if you run Firefox and can load the del.icio.us expansion buttons right into your browser. So go check it out: I'll be putting it up on the links list (probably replacing most of the current items, since they'll be accessible through the site), if you don't have time to look today. If you like it enough to have your own account, feel free to put me in your network so we can share!
