So after all the whining I did about it, having my wisdom teeth out was not that bad. The soreness was a little unpleasant the first few days, and being zonked out on painkillers all week has screwed up my sleep pattern and prevented me from getting a lot of journal submissions read, but I'll catch up eventually. I was cleared to go back to solid foods this morning, so that's progress.

Today was also fantasy baseball draft day -- I'm pretty happy with my team so far, although I decided to dump Abreu for a SS/2B eligible player because I wound up with Carlos Guillen at shortstop and Brian Roberts is already hurt, so I needed a backup. Automated drafts are always interesting -- I still can't figure out how I wound up with Smoltz and Chipper Jones despite my moving them way down my ranking lists, but I didn't wind up with any Cubs, and I got a bunch of the players I moved up the lists, so I can't really complain. We have an extra reserve spot just for pitchers this year, so it makes lineup shuffling a little easier. And Chuckles (form. Married Brother) is playing with us this year, so I will be sure to tell you how soundly I am beating both him and my father. Because I know you all care so much.
