Nice to see you again.

I caved and bought an MLB Audio subscription, and it's been awesome to actually hear the Cardinals games live instead of trying to follow things on Gameday. Plus the audio stuff is augmented with video clips of the key plays of each game on only a few minutes delay, so it's pretty much the next best thing to actually watching a game. Actually I think I get more other work done during the game, since I don't have a picture to stare at. And I've been ridiculously pleased with KTRS's habit of recognizing a different affiliate station each game; Saturday it was Ponca City, where my grandparents live (and conceivably my grandfather could have been listening to the game), tonight it was Enid, where my great-aunt and most of her children live.

The past week has been odd. If you haven't heard yet, I found bedbugs in my apartment last Sunday and everything's kind of been crazy since then. I seem to have caught it early; the exterminator said there were no signs of infestation. But there's been a lot of extra cleaning and laundry and buying of plastic bags. (Luckily no one wants to do laundry on the first day of a three day weekend. I spent three hours running back and forth from the laundry room Saturday and didn't see another soul.)I still need to get the exterminator back out here for a follow up visit and figure out what I'm going to do with all the stuff I used to keep under the bed, but the worst, I hope, is over. *knocks on wood until knuckles hurt*
