Actual exchange with the substitute instructor at ballet this evening (we've had her before):

"Oh, Hi! Good to see you, um....Madison?"

"Whitney."

"Right, I knew it was something to do with a town in New Jersey."

Yeah, I've got no idea what the thought process was there.

Regardless, it was a great class. Apparently this instructor (who I think I will now call Jersey) is taking over the class in the fall which is sad because I will miss Socks, but good because after two years (!) in the same class I kind of need a change. Since I am too lazy to change classes, I am okay with change coming to me.
