A Letter To My Mother

Dear Mom,

I don't know where to begin. I want to wish you a happy Mothers' Day and to tell you how sorry I am we can't be together, like we were last year. I was hoping it could become a tradition, but I suppose there are plenty more years to come!

I also want to tell you how much you mean to me. Without your love and wisdom, your strength and understanding, I wouldn't be a fraction of the person I am today (which, hopefully you think is a good one).

After everything that you have been through, you have remained one of the best people I know. You continue to truly amaze me everyday.

All of the hardships that you have endured have done nothing to weaken or mar you in any way. They have only made you stronger.

Every time you were hurt or upset, I was hurt or upset tenfold. You are my rock. I don't know what I would have done without you, and I don't know what I did to deserve you.

Thank you for everything you have done for me, everything you have given me, and everything you have given up for me. You are completely selfless when it comes to your children.

I wish everyone was as fortunate, as Marlin and me, to have such a wonderful mother.

You are beautiful on the inside and out.
You are strong.
You are brave.
You are kind and compassionate.
You are loving and giving.
You are an astonishing woman.
You are my mother.

I love you so very much and I hope that you wonderful day.

My love always,
Bianca
