Talk about stress! Have you ever tried to work a fulltime job (48 hours / 6 days a week), write a 50,000 word novel in thirty days, and buy a house, all at the same time?

Well I have, and let me tell you - it ain't fun! Ok, maybe its a little fun. At least the writing and knowing your getting a new house part is fun - definitely not the work part.

But damn it's taxing! I feel like I am going to have a nervous breakdown.

There have been some changes on the housing scene. The one I told you about before, and showed you the picture of, well we're not buying that one. For what they were asking and what we would want to do to it to make it livable for us, it wasn't worth it. Instead, we found another 3 bedroom / 2 bath house, barely smaller, for the same price -and it's completely furnished! It's Beautiful! It's Perfect! I am in love with this house! It makes me feel happy when I walk into it. The other house didn't.

The house is in such perfect condition we don't need to do a thing to it! And now we don't have to spend any money buying more furnishings for extra bedrooms or anything! It's all there!

The agent brought the contract to us today, so now all we have to do is look it over with our lawyer, sign, send it back to them and wait for them to sign it.

I am soooooooooooooooooooo excited about this house. I'll show you pics of it once we are closer to settlement. I don't want to jinx it, which I might already be doing talking about it right now. I really hope not. I would be crushed if we didn't get this house.

Ok, so I just wanted to let everyone know what was going on. I'm still on pace for NaNo, and I'm still loving the story I've got going.

I haven't thought of 6 weird things about myself, Jen, but I'll get to it. I've had too much else on the brain to think about the many strange ass things I do. God knows there's plenty of them. I just need to narrow it down to 6. Heh!
