Books and other stuff I feel like discussing

By education and experience - Accountant with a specialty in taxation. Formerly a CPA (license has lapsed). Masters degree in law of taxation from University of Denver. Now retired. Part time work during baseball season as receptionist & switchboard operator for the Colorado Rockies. This gig feeds my soul in ways I have trouble articulating. One daughter, and four grandchildren. I share the house with two cats; a big goof of a cat called Grinch (named as a joke for his easy going "whatever" disposition); and Lady, a shelter adoptee with a regal bearing and sweet little soprano voice. I would be very bereft if it ever becomes necessary to keep house without a cat.

I still have trouble believing this -

From October 2006 to April 2007 - 10,000 hits, that's about 1500 hits a month.

In August 2007 I went past 20,000 hits. At that point I was up to 2200 hits per month.

Today or perhaps tomorrow, I'll go over 30,000. That's 2500 hits a month!

Who ARE all you people? I'm very glad you've joined me in cyberspace, but I am a little dumbfounded.

Anyway, stick around, I'm glad you're here. More blather about the books I read, my cats, and baseball will be served up as I go along.
