So, I'm having a go at this on-line journal thing. We'll see how it goes.

I've been reading web journals for years, and have been toying with the idea of keeping one for almost as long. Two things kept me from doing so. One was the fear that I wouldn't have time to update, and the other was the fear that I wouldn't have anything to say. I gradually stopped being afraid of those things.

Hmm. Well, I guess that'll do for preliminaries.
