Rejection, but no dejection

Mood:
Is there a word for simultaneously disappointed and relieved?

Well, Company A called a while back and said they decided to offer the job to someone else. As rejections go, it was as nice as could be: they said it was a hard decision, that I was an excellent candidate, but in the end they went with someone who they felt was just a bit better match-up with the position.

I'm somewhat disappointed, but not too badly. I've still got the prospect of landing the Company B job, which I think I'm much better suited to. And this means I can probably squeeze in a little more freelance work for Company C, while I wait for Company B to make up its mind.

Mostly, I think I'm just relieved to have reduced the number of variables in the equation of my future just a bit.
