In less than 24 hours, Daniel will be home from Clarion West! Wheee!

And Sunday is our 6th wedding anniversary! Yay! I've planned for fairly low-key festivities: we will probably drink coffee and read the New York Times together at our favorite coffee shop (where they ask after Daniel every time I show up by myself), and have a nice dinner someplace.

Had the day off from work today, since I'm working part-time right now. It looks like my days of part-timing will be short-lived: a coworker will be transferring to the MarComm department in a few weeks, and my boss has gotten approval to bump my hours back to full-time when that happens. My boss is hoping to get approval to hire me permanently, but that may take longer.

I've been feeling really tired for the past couple of days, for reasons not entirely clear. I think I may have caught some kind of low grade virus: I felt achy and nauseated much of Tuesday. So, I decided to give myself a break today. I slept late, and whiled away much of the afternoon sitting in my favorite coffee shop, reading last year's Year's Best Fantasy and Horror antho.

Plans for this evening include watching the DVD of Brotherhood of the Wolf that I picked up at Borders last night for $15. Great movie. The world absolutely needs more kung-fu monster flicks set in ancien regime France.
