There's so much I'd like to write about, and just not much time right now. Been busy at work, and busy outside of work.

The major bit of news is that Daniel and I signed a lease on a 2 bedroom apartment in San Jose today. Our planned move-in date is November 15th. I'm very excited about this place. It's a good-sized place, and should give us a good amount of room for bookshelves and home office stuff. We have a little patio and a scrap of backyard. And a kitchen that's big enough to turn around in. It's a 10 minute drive from where I work, so no more commuting as an endurance sport for me. It's also 17 minute drive from the Fremont BART station, so we can take BART to Berkeley or San Francisco easily. It'll be a nice place.

I feel so grown up. I guess I'm not a grad student anymore.

Thank god.

Seems like everybody I know is moving. Yesterday, I helped Marissa, and Mark, and Timprov, and C.J. load a U-Haul. They're off to the Land of Tiny Soft Drinks. Er, I mean, Minnesota. Have a good trip, guys!

After that I meant to go to Zed's housewarming party, but I ended up having dinner with Daniel and curling up on the couch and watching Excel Saga. Excel Saga has got to be one of the strangest pieces of anime that I've ever seen. Also one of the funniest. Each episode is a parody of a different style of entertainment - science fiction film, action movie, drama series, etc. One of my favorites parodies the "dating simulation" computer games that are apparently quite popular in Japan. Funny stuff.

Well, I've got some stuff to take care of before I get to bed, so that's all for now. Later!
